Gain Staging Advice
The EIN range is the honest part of the sheet: -129 dBu at high gain, -105 dBu at low. 60 dB here is not the same quality of 60 dB as in a WA12, and on a dynamic mic you will hear the difference as hiss.
Production Warning
Retailers routinely advertise 70 dB or even 80 dB for this box. ART's own specification page says 50-60 dB; the catalogue follows the manufacturer.
