Headroom Notes

The AMD counterpart of the Maximus Z890 Hero, with the same front-panel arrangement: one USB 20Gbps Type-C header rated up to 60 W PD/QC4+, everything else an ordinary USB port at the specification floor. On the Z890 Hero page ASUS adds that the 60 W requires the auxiliary 8-pin PCIe cable and drops to 27 W without it; that condition is not repeated on this page, so it is recorded there and not asserted here.

Amplification Warning

Same audio block as the Intel Hero — ALC4082 codec, ESS ES9219 quad DAC, impedance sense on front and rear headphone outputs — and the same complete absence of an output level figure.
