Tonal Profile
The fixed-cardioid entry to the OC line, with the same 1-inch CKR12 ceramic capsule as the OC818 but no second output and no pad. Two low cuts, nothing else to set.
Gain Staging Advice
-39.2 dBV/Pa is quiet for a large diaphragm and 275 ohms is a high source impedance by 2020s standards - four to five times a Lewitt. Give it a preamp with at least 1.5 kilohms of input impedance, which Austrian Audio itself asks for.
