Tonal Profile

A single 10 mm dual-magnet dynamic in a vented stainless housing. Campfire's inverted sensitivity row makes the comparison with the Andromeda immediate for once: 16.6 mV against 11.84 mV for the same 94 dB, so the Cascara is about 3 dB less sensitive — the only pair in this batch where two products of the same brand can be compared without converting anything.

Amplification Warning

129.6 dB/V at 23 Ω. Still firmly in hiss territory: a source noise floor of 5 µV is about 25 dB SPL in the ear here, which is audible in a quiet room.
