Headroom Notes

The lowest row of Douk's supply table is recorded here, because on this model both adapters are marked optional in the packing list - the amplifier can arrive with no supply at all, and with no supply there is no power figure. Two JAN5725 tubes run at 100 V in the input stage; the output is the same TPA3255 as the rest of the family.

Every power figure this amplifier has is conditional on a supply that the packing list marks as optional. The manufacturer's own table gives 78, 120 or 250 W per channel into 4 ohms depending on which adapter is fitted, and the product name quotes 300 W, a value that appears in no row of that table.
