50 W per channel into 8 ohms over the full band at under 0.1 % THD, two channels driven. The 90 W into 4 ohms is 1 kHz at under 1 % - the same trick as an AV receiver, but Emotiva prints the conditions next to each number instead of on a separate line.

Thermal Behavior

Emotiva is one of the few makers that states the load limit in words rather than leaving it to be guessed from a power table: 'Minimum Recommended Load Impedance (per channel): 4 Ohms (equals one 4 Ohm load or two paralleled 8 Ohm loads)'. The parenthesis matters - it is the only place in this batch where a manufacturer spells out what happens when two pairs of speakers share one channel.
