Headroom Notes

A 9.4-channel receiver recorded here under the catalogue's seven-channel AV type, because the category has no nine-channel entry; the channel count in the record is the true one. 110 W into 8 ohms, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.08 % THD is the comparable figure. Marantz's own store tile also says 110 W, which is unusual - the marketing 150 W (6 ohms, 1 kHz, 0.7 %) is kept in the manual rather than on the shelf.

Thermal Behavior

Output connectors rated 4 - 16 ohms. Nine amplifier channels share one chassis, so the 110 W figure is a two-channel measurement that no full Atmos layout ever reproduces.
