Headroom Notes

45 W x 2 into 8 ohms at 0.08 % THD, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, both channels driven. Marantz also lists 60 W x 2 into 4 ohms but without stating the bandwidth or distortion for that figure, so only the 8 ohm rating is carried here. Damping factor 100 at 8 ohms, 40 Hz - 20 kHz.

Thermal Behavior

The specification table has no impedance line at all; the requirement lives on the connection page: 4 - 16 ohms on Speakers A or on Speakers B, but 8 - 16 ohms when both pairs are driven together. Bi-wiring a single pair from A+B stays at 4 - 16 ohms, because that is one load, not two.
