Tonal Profile

The 99 Classics in ABS rather than wood: same 103 dB/mW, but 26 Ohms against the Classics' 16. Ten ohms of difference sounds trivial and is not — against a source with 10 Ohms of output impedance the Neo loses about 3 dB where the Classics loses 4.4 dB, and the frequency-dependent part of that loss is what people hear as 'the wooden one has more bass'.
