A planar's impedance is essentially flat with frequency, so a source with a high output impedance costs level but does not bend the tonal balance the way it does on a dynamic driver with a bass resonance peak. 61 Ohms and 100 dB/mW is an unusually well-behaved load: about 0.8 V for 110 dB.
