Moondrop publishes sensitivity in dB/Vrms across the whole line, which is the honest unit for an IEM: what a source can give you is volts, not milliwatts. 122 dB/V at 32 Ω means roughly 107 dB/mW — full scale on a phone lands somewhere around 120 dB SPL, so the useful volume range sits in the bottom fifth of the dial.

Amplification Warning

At this efficiency the question is not whether the source has enough voltage — it always does — but how quiet the source is. A desktop amp with 5 µV of output noise is already audible here as hiss between tracks.
