The two halves of this gain figure carry different units. dBu is an absolute level referenced to 0.775 V, so a gain — a ratio between two levels — cannot be expressed in it; the second half, in dB, can. Read against the neighbouring rows (Maximum Input +2 dBu / +8 dBu and Clip Level +3.3 dBu / +12.3 dBu) both numbers behave as gains of 1.3 dB and about 4.3 dB, which is what the row appears to mean.
