Half-inch cardioid electret that clips onto a phone and plugs into its TRRS headset socket. Frequency range starts at 100 Hz, not 20: the low end is cut in the capsule rather than by a switch.
Gain Staging Advice
TRRS wiring puts the microphone on the fourth conductor. In a three-conductor TRS input - a camera, a recorder, most interfaces with a mini-jack - that conductor is the right channel, and the microphone reads as silence rather than as a quiet source. The published 140 dB SPL maximum is the highest in this batch and is why it survives being pointed at a concert.
