A single dynamic MicroDriver, and the one Shure earphone in the line that does not use armatures. Shure is unusual in publishing maximum audio input power — 100 mW — which together with 17 Ω tells you the driver survives about 1.3 Vrms.

Amplification Warning

107 dB/mW at 17 Ω is about 125 dB/V. Anything with a volume control will drive it; the limiting factor is source noise and channel imbalance at the bottom of an analogue pot.
