Tonal Profile
A single full-range balanced armature — no crossover, no phase splice. It is also the reason the impedance is 80 Ω: one armature coil, undivided.
Amplification Warning
80 Ω from a phone is fine on paper — 103 dB/mW is about 114 dB/V — but a bare armature's impedance is not flat, and this is precisely the load where a high-output-impedance jack changes the tone rather than the level.

Westone Audio gives a frequency but no reference for sensitivity anywhere in the MACH line. Here the omission is expensive: at 80 Ω, milliwatts and volts are only 11 dB apart — the smallest gap in this batch, because the impedance is unusually high — but the impedance itself is the surprise. 80 Ω in an in-ear monitor is five times the segment norm.
