110 dB/mW at 96 Ω is about 120 dB/V — still easy. The practical consequence of 96 Ω is the opposite of the usual in-ear worry: a source with a 10 Ω output impedance costs less than a decibel here, where on a 16 Ω hybrid it would be audible.
