Tonal Profile

The V2 of the HS55 line, sold with the USB surround adapter. On Corsair's own tables it is electrically indistinguishable from the HS55 Stereo and the HS65 Surround: same impedance line, same sensitivity, same 50 mm driver, same frequency range.

Amplification Warning

If you plug it into the USB adapter you are no longer asking whether your source drives the headset — the adapter's amplifier does, at a fixed gain. The analogue question only applies to the 3.5 mm path, and there the answer is that everything drives it.

What the datasheet actually says

Quoted verbatim from the manufacturer’s own page, with the date we checked it. We state what is printed, not what anyone intended by it.

Named like something else
«Impedance: 32k Ohms @ 1 kHz»

Third page in Corsair's HS line to carry the kilohm figure, which makes it a template rather than a typo on one product. The value that describes a 50 mm dynamic driver is 32 Ω; that is what we store, and what Corsair itself prints on the VIRTUOSO pages. Recorded here with the date so the claim survives a silent edit.
