Fifteen channels at 150 W into 8 ohms, full band, 0.05 % THD, two channels driven. The load allowance is the same 4 - 16 ohms as on a $649 receiver from the same catalogue: what money buys here is channel count, processing and build, not a wider impedance envelope.
What the datasheet actually says
Quoted verbatim from the manufacturer’s own page, with the date we checked it. We state what is printed, not what anyone intended by it.
«Power Output (8 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.08% 2ch Drive): No — Power Output (8 ohm, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.05% 2ch Drive): 150W»
The specification table carries two rows for the same quantity under two distortion limits, and the 0.08 % row is filled in with the word 'No' rather than a number or a blank. Read literally, Denon's own table states that this receiver has no rated output at 0.08 % distortion while rating it at the stricter 0.05 %. It is a template artefact, but a machine reading the page cannot tell that.
