Headroom Notes
86 dB at 2.83 V / 1 m on a 6-ohm nominal load. On 6 ohms 2.83 V is about 1.33 W, so the same speaker is worth roughly 84.8 dB/W/m — about 1.25 dB less than the printed figure. ELAC states the drive condition explicitly, which most of this price class does not; the correction is small but it always runs in the same direction, in favour of the speaker.
Amplification Warning
The sheet gives a nominal impedance and a maximum power input (120 W) but no impedance minimum and no recommended amplifier range. A 6-ohm nominal two-way normally dips into the high 4s somewhere around the port tuning; without ELAC publishing it we do not carry a figure. Treat the speaker as a 4-ohm-capable load rather than an 8-ohm one.
