Amplification Warning

Three 5.25-inch woofers on a 6-ohm nominal rating, with the lower crossover at 90 Hz — a 2.5-way arrangement in which the bass units run in parallel over most of the band. Parallel bass drivers are exactly where the impedance minimum lives, and ELAC does not publish one. The tower earns the same 86 dB at 2.83 V as the small B5.2 bookshelf, so the extra drivers buy extension and power handling, not efficiency.
