Recorded here is Super High gain, the top setting available on battery: 550 mW into 32 ohms, 12.4 Vp-p, which is 4.38 V RMS. On the wall supply the same jack reaches 1100 mW and 6.29 V, so plugging in the charger is worth a full 3 dB.
