Headroom Notes
The largest Shape: two 5-inch Flax woofers and two 8-inch passive radiators, so it loads a room like a much bigger box without a port. Both inputs are 10 kOhm, and Focal notes the RCA input has «compensanted sensitivity» - that is, the unbalanced input is matched in level rather than simply paralleled, so switching between them does not change loudness.

«a high SPL (110.5 dB) for its size»
The descriptive text at the top of the Shape Twin product page gives the maximum level as 110.5 dB; the specification table lower on the same page reads «Maximum SPL (peak@1m) : 110 dB». Half a decibel is not a practical difference, but the two figures cannot both be the measured result of one procedure, and neither statement names the test signal or the number of speakers. The specification table is the figure recorded in this catalogue, on the principle that the table states the measuring condition and the prose does not.
