The rare gaming headset that is not 32 Ω. 64 Ω halves the current draw for the same voltage and doubles the tolerance for a high-output-impedance jack, which is one reason the Cloud line sounds the same from a laptop and from an interface.
Amplification Warning
100 dB/mW at 64 Ω is about 112 dB from one volt: still loud from anything. Note that the impedance figure lives only in HyperX's launch announcement — the current product page lists sensitivity and omits impedance entirely, and the same is true of the Cloud II and Cloud Alpha pages.
