Headroom Notes

110 dB max SPL with no stated measurement condition — no distance, no signal, no distortion limit, no indication whether it is one speaker or two. Treat it as a marketing ceiling, not a comparable figure. The same page also carries two different amplifier powers for the same product; see the spec claim below.

Amplification Warning

5.12 kΩ is the lowest input impedance of any monitor in this batch — half the usual 10 kΩ. A pair loads the source with 2.56 kΩ, which is still fine for any interface output but marginal for a passive attenuator or an older preamp with a series output resistor. The single combo jack means there is no unbalanced input at all; an RCA source needs a converter.

What the datasheet actually says

Quoted verbatim from the manufacturer’s own page, with the date we checked it. We state what is printed, not what anyone intended by it.

The maker’s own documents disagree
«Wattage: 203 Watts»

The Rokit 7 G4 product page states «Wattage: 203 Watts» in the header block and «Power Output: 145 Watts» in the specifications table lower on the same page. 203 W is the figure KRK publishes for the Rokit 8 G4, whose own page shows 203 in both places — so the header on the 7 appears to carry the 8's number. Neither figure is a level and neither can be used to compare loudness, but the contradiction is a warning about the rest of that page: the 110 dB maximum SPL printed on it has no stated measurement condition either.
