Headroom Notes

Nine channels at 125 W into 8 ohms, full band, 0.05 % THD, two driven. For the purposes of a power calculation this receiver and the Denon AVR-X4800H are the same amplifier: every rated-output row matches, and both allow 4 - 16 ohm speakers after the same hidden impedance setting.

The Denon AVR-X4800H manual prints the identical rated-output block - the same two power figures under the same two sets of conditions, and the same 4 - 16 ohm load allowance. Denon and Marantz are the same manufacturer, and for the question 'will it drive these speakers' the two receivers are not distinguishable by their published figures; the difference is in processing, HDAM circuitry and price.
