Open planar, Rinaro MZ6, and a stated THD below 0.05% — the lowest distortion figure in this batch by a factor of two. 101 dB/mW at 55 Ohms needs about 0.7 V for 110 dB, so the reputation of planars as amplifier-hungry does not apply here; what they are is voltage-linear, which is a different and more useful property. Note that both Meze planars are less sensitive than the company's own dynamic models, not more demanding.
