Headroom Notes

Unlike the rest of NAD's current line the two loads get different numbers here: >80 W into 8 ohms, 100 W into 4 ohms. The distortion limit published alongside them, <0.04 %, is qualified '250mW to 90W, 4 ohms' - it is stated for the 4 ohm load only, so no distortion figure is recorded against the 8 ohm rating.

The power row refers to 'rated THD+N'; the row that defines rated THD+N covers 250 mW to 90 W into 4 ohms. The 8 ohm rating is 80 W, so the distortion limit that the 8 ohm number is said to be measured at is never printed for an 8 ohm load. Both numbers are the manufacturer's; the two rows simply do not describe the same load.
