Tonal Profile

A broadcast monitor: viscoelastic pads, up to 32 dB of passive attenuation, and a stated tolerance of plus or minus 3 dB on sensitivity — a band of 6 dB, wider than the gap between many of the models it competes with. Sennheiser is being honest about unit-to-unit spread here; most manufacturers simply print the centre value and say nothing.

What the datasheet actually says

Quoted verbatim from the manufacturer’s own page, with the date we checked it. We state what is printed, not what anyone intended by it.

Named like something else
«Power consumption (Amp) 500 mW»

The same mislabel as on the HD 490 PRO, and here without even the IEC reference that made it decodable there. A passive headphone consumes nothing; 500 mW is its power handling limit. On a spec page that omits nothing else, this is the one line that cannot be read literally.
