Same 7 mm TrueResponse driver as the IE 200, in a 3D-printed amorphous-metal housing with dual resonator chambers. One decibel less sensitive and the same 18 Ω: electrically the IE 200 and IE 600 are interchangeable loads, and any source that suits one suits the other.

Gain Staging Advice

Sennheiser writes «18 Ω system impedance» — system, meaning earphone plus cable. That is the number to feed a calculator, and it is worth noting that the 4.4 mm balanced cable in the box does not change it.
