Tonal Profile
The closed member of the cheap Superlux line, aimed at tracking where bleed into the microphone matters more than soundstage. Note the power-handling line: Superlux separates HD662 (200 mW) from HD662F and HD662B (300 mW) but gives the three a single sensitivity and a single impedance.
What the datasheet actually says
Quoted verbatim from the manufacturer’s own page, with the date we checked it. We state what is printed, not what anyone intended by it.
«Max. Input Power: HD662: 200 mW; HD662F & HD662B: 300 mW ... Sensitivity: 98 dB SPL (1 mW) at 1 KHz ... Rated Impedance: 32 Ω»
The same table distinguishes the three variants where power handling is concerned and merges them where sensitivity and impedance are concerned. A driver whose thermal limit differs by 1.8 dB is not necessarily the same driver, so the single 98 dB SPL (1 mW) is the family's nominal figure rather than a per-variant measurement. The document itself shows the manufacturer can separate the variants when it chooses to.
