88 dB at 2.83 V / 1 m on an 8-ohm nominal load, so the figure doubles as dB/W/m without correction. The 12.2 is a 6.5-inch two-way in an 11.8 L cabinet: the sensitivity is honest, but the bass extension quoted at -6 dB (43 Hz) is a ported number and output falls away quickly below it.
Amplification Warning
The sheet never states a nominal impedance: the row is labelled «Nominal impedance» but the value reads «8Ω Compatible», which is a statement about amplifier outputs, not about the speaker. What is stated is the minimum, 4.0 Ω. We record 8 Ω because that is how the row is labelled, and we flag the wording separately — but size the amplifier on the 4.0.
What the datasheet actually says

«Nominal impedance 8Ω Compatible»
The row is headed «Nominal impedance» but the value is not an impedance — «8Ω Compatible» describes which amplifier output taps the speaker may be connected to. The same page separately prints «Minimum impedance 4.0Ω», and that is the figure an amplifier's output devices and protection circuit actually see. Read literally, the sheet gives a compatibility claim where the nominal load belongs, and the honest load figure sits one row below.
