Headroom Notes
The Vibelink is the amplifier without the streamer: line, optical and coaxial in, a 12 V trigger, no network at all. WiiM publishes one power figure, 100 W per channel at 8 ohms, and unlike the Amp Ultra page it attaches no distortion limit or channels-driven condition to it. There is no 4-ohm figure, which matters because the published load range does go down to 3 ohms.
What the datasheet actually says
Quoted verbatim from the manufacturer’s own page, with the date we checked it. We state what is printed, not what anyone intended by it.
«Output Power: 100W per channel at 8Ω (stereo) — Total Harmonic Distortion (THD+N): ≤0.0005%»
The two rows sit next to each other but are not connected: the distortion figure has no power level attached, and the power figure has no distortion limit. WiiM's own Amp Ultra page, on the same site, writes its power as 'Power Output (THD = 0.08%, two channels driven)'. Here that condition is absent, so 100 W at 8 ohms cannot be compared with a rating that names its distortion limit.
