Tonal Profile
The mobile version of the DT 770, and the only one with leatherette pads instead of velour — the pads change the treble, not just the comfort. 96 dB/mW at 32 Ω works out near 111 dB/V, so this one really does play loud from a laptop.

beyerdynamic prints this one figure on the shared DT 770 PRO sheet, and it stands for all three impedance versions — 32, 80 and 250 Ω — which have different voice coils and are, for every practical purpose, three different headphones. The sheet also omits the unit; the sibling PRO X pages spell it out as «100 dB SPL (1mW/500Hz)», which is why we read this one as dB/mW too. Both choices matter: read as dB/V instead, the three versions look identical, and the 8.9 dB spread that decides which one your interface can drive disappears.
