Headroom Notes
FiiO publishes two different specifications for the same jack. Plugged into a phone the 3.5 mm output makes 2 Vrms and 140 mW into 32 ohms; with the second USB-C port fed from a charger (Desktop Mode) the same jack makes 3 Vrms and 270 mW. The figures recorded here are the phone-powered ones, because that is how a dongle is normally used and because an under-promise is safer than an over-promise. If you run it in Desktop Mode, multiply the available voltage by 1.5.
Amplification Warning
The 4.4 mm balanced jack is a separate amplifier with its own numbers (3 Vrms phone / 4.5 Vrms desktop). The catalogue stores one headphone output per device, so only the 3.5 mm side is modelled here.
