Tonal Profile
A small-diaphragm pencil with a two-position voicing switch: FLAT, or AIR - a broad lift above 6 kHz that is done in the electronics, not the capsule. Permanently polarised, so it is an electret despite the price bracket it competes in.
Gain Staging Advice
Lewitt prints both scales and they agree exactly: 14.6 mV/Pa is -36.7 dBV/Pa to the decimal. 20 dB(A) is the honest weak point - on a quiet acoustic guitar in a quiet room this is the noisiest microphone in this batch alongside the LCT 040.
