Gain Staging Advice

LEWITT prints both scales and they agree: 16.7 mV/Pa, -35.5 dBV/Pa. The exact conversion is -35.54, so the datasheet is right to a tenth - the only manufacturer in this batch that is consistently so. Self-noise of 19 dB-A is the honest ceiling on how quiet a source this will handle, while the 142 dB max SPL without a pad is unusually generous for the price.
