Expert Audio Engineering Commentary
Tonal profile
The supercardioid of the pair: tighter rejection off-axis at the price of a rear lobe, and the version most often chosen for loud monitor wedges. On paper it is indistinguishable from the KMS 104 in every row except the pattern.
Gain staging
Same -47 dBV/Pa and same 18 dB-A as the 104. The reason to pick between them is the polar pattern and the room, not the level.
