Tonal Profile
Moving-coil version of the Revelator: same firmware mixer, same converter, a dynamic capsule instead of the condenser and a 135 dB SPL ceiling instead of 110.
Gain Staging Advice
1.6 mV/Pa converts exactly to -55.9 dBV/Pa. PreSonus publishes no preamp gain for the Revelator line, so the calculator assumes a typical 36 dB and labels the assumption; against a -55.9 dBV capsule that assumption is the difference between a usable level and a thin one.
What the datasheet actually says
Quoted verbatim from the manufacturer’s own page, with the date we checked it. We state what is printed, not what anyone intended by it.
«Microphone Sensitivity 1.6 mV/Pa»
The same 1.6 mV/Pa is published for the PD-70, PreSonus's XLR broadcast dynamic, which is a different product at a different price with a different body. Whether the two share a capsule is not stated anywhere; what is stated is one number on two datasheets.
