88 dB is quoted at 2.83 Vrms / 1 m into a 6-ohm load, i.e. 1.33 W, so the true one-watt figure is about 86.8 dB. Against a 8-ohm speaker quoted the same 88 dB, this one is genuinely 1.2 dB quieter.
Amplification Warning
Same 6-ohm nominal, 4-ohm minimum and 88 dB as its larger sibling the 3030i, but the AV-receiver window is 50-75 W here against 50-145 W there — the smaller cabinet simply cannot absorb the power. Note also that this page says "Nominal impedance" where the 3030i page says "Average impedance": two pages of the same series, two different words for the same row.
