Tonal profile

TRRS lavalier meant to plug straight into a phone headset socket. Electrically it is the Lavalier GO capsule on a four-conductor plug.

Gain staging

A TRRS plug in a TRS socket puts the microphone on the ring that the host uses for the right channel: on a camera or recorder it will read as silence, not as a quiet microphone. That is a wiring fact, not a level problem, and no amount of gain fixes it.
