Supercardioid neodymium handheld with a die-cast body and a multi-axis capsule shock mount, 50 Hz - 16 kHz, rated to 147 dB SPL. Samson prints the sensitivity in both scales, -55.2 dBV/Pa and 1.7 mV/Pa, and the two agree to 0.2 dB.

Gain Staging Advice

-55.2 dBV/Pa is 0.7 dB below an SM58 and 0.8 dB above an SM57, in a microphone that costs a quarter as much, and the 200 ohm output loads nothing. Whatever gain setting works for an SM58 works here - which is the whole argument for it.
