Tonal Profile
A 20 mm pencil supercardioid for overheads and percussion - 93 grams, 139 dB maximum SPL, no pad and no filter. It is the cheap half of the e 900 instrument pair: the e 914 has the switches, this one has the same job and none of them.
Gain Staging Advice
3 mV/Pa is -50.5 dBV/Pa, and with 24 dB(A) of self-noise it works at a distance as well as up close. Watch the powering line: the table says 12 - 48 V, the paragraph on the same page says 12 - 52 V. Either way a standard 48 V supply is inside both windows.

The specification table says the microphone takes 12 to 48 V of phantom power. The Architect's Specification paragraph on the same page of the same PDF says 'The microphone shall operate on 12 - 52 V phantom power'. IEC 61938 defines P12, P24 and P48; 52 V is the upper tolerance limit some manufacturers quote instead. Both windows include a standard 48 V supply, so nothing breaks - but the same page states the device's power requirement twice and does not state it the same way.
