Gain Staging Advice
Unlike a Cloudlifter or FetHead this box is not meant to be transparent — the transformer is the product. Judge it by what it does to the tone, not by the 26 dB, which any $45 booster also gives.
Production Warning
48 V phantom powers the box itself. Soyuz do not publish a pass-through figure and specify the Launcher for dynamic and ribbon microphones; plan on the phantom stopping here.
