Headroom Notes

Triangle is the exception in this batch: it quotes sensitivity as 90 dB/W/m, a real one-watt reference, not 2.83 V. Everyone else here uses 2.83 V, which for their 6-ohm models is a free 1.2 dB. So the gap between this speaker and a 6-ohm rival quoted at 88 dB is larger than the printed numbers suggest, not smaller.

Amplification Warning

8 ohms nominal with a 4.2-ohm minimum — the mildest load of the 8-ohm-labelled speakers here. Combined with a genuine 90 dB/W, this is the one entry in the batch a modest integrated amplifier can drive without qualification.
