Headroom Notes

The 60 W / 120 W pair carries no distortion figure, no bandwidth and no statement of how many channels were driven. The only distortion number WiiM publishes for this unit - 0.0025 % - is measured at 5 W, which is a linearity figure and says nothing about the power rating. The amplifier section is a TPA3255 fed from an external brick, so the ceiling is set by the supply that happens to be in the box.

Thermal Behavior

WiiM does state a minimum load, which most streaming amplifiers do not - but the row that states it also says '2 pairs 8 ohms in parallel', and two 8-ohm pairs in parallel is 4 ohms, not 2.67. Treat 2.67 as the number printed, not as a tested guarantee for a speaker whose impedance dips there.

What the datasheet actually says

Quoted verbatim from the manufacturer’s own page, with the date we checked it. We state what is printed, not what anyone intended by it.

The maker’s own documents disagree
«Speaker Output: 8 ohms, 6 ohms, 4 ohms / 2 pairs 8 ohms in parallel / Minimum Impedance 2.67 ohms»

One row states two different lowest loads. Two pairs of 8-ohm speakers wired in parallel present 4 ohms, not 2.67; 2.67 ohms is what three 8-ohm loads in parallel - or an 8-ohm and a 4-ohm speaker together - would present. The wiring case the row describes and the minimum the row names do not match.

Measurement conditions
«Power Output: 60 Watts/channel at 8 ohms; 120 Watts/channel at 4 ohms — THD+N (Analog Out): -92dB (0.0025%) at 5W»

The power figures are given without a distortion limit, without a frequency band and without saying whether one or both channels were driven. The only distortion figure on the sheet is taken at 5 W, so it cannot be read as the condition under which 60 W or 120 W was reached. A number stated this way is not comparable with a full-band, two-channels-driven rating.
