Tonal Profile
The cheapest fully analogue Corsair: one 3.5 mm plug, no adapter, no software dependency. Electrically identical on paper to the HS65 and the HS55 Surround V2 — the differences between those three are the bundled USB adapter and the earpads, not the transducer.
Amplification Warning
Driven by anything, including a console controller. Because the cable is fixed and terminates in a 4-pole plug, a PC with separate mic and headphone jacks needs the splitter — that splitter is a common cause of the «one channel is quiet» complaint, not the headset.

«Impedance: 32k Ohms @ 1 kHz»
The same kilohm figure that appears on the HS65 Surround and HS55 Surround V2 pages. Taken literally it says the headset presents 32 000 Ω to the source; a 50 mm dynamic driver presents about 32 Ω, which is what Corsair's own VIRTUOSO pages print without the «k». We record 32 Ω and keep the printed line here so the discrepancy stays checkable if the page is quietly corrected later.
