Tonal Profile

Cardioid dynamic, 50 Hz to 15 kHz, sold beside Elgato's USB Wave line but purely analogue: XLR out, no converter, no software.

Gain Staging Advice

Elgato prints both units - 2.5 mV/Pa and -52 dBV/Pa - and they agree. The number to watch is the 600-ohm output impedance: that is four times a Shure dynamic and the highest in this batch, so it wants an input of at least 1.5-2 kohm to keep its level and low end.
