Tonal Profile
A wireless headset that keeps a real analogue path: the 3.5 mm cable works with the battery flat, and Razer publishes impedance and sensitivity for it. That is what puts it in this catalogue at all — a Bluetooth-only headset has its amplifier inside and the question «will the source drive it» has no meaning.
Amplification Warning
In 3.5 mm mode the dongle, the microphone processing and the on-board volume control are all out of the chain; you get the bare drivers. Level drops noticeably compared with the wireless mode, because wireless plays through the internal amplifier at a fixed, generous gain — that is a change of loudness, not of tonality.

«by HATS» means the figure was taken on a head-and-torso simulator — an artificial head with ear canals — not on the flat-plate or IEC 60318-1 coupler that most headphone datasheets use. The two methods differ by several decibels in a way that depends on the coupling, so this number is not directly comparable with a Sennheiser or beyerdynamic figure even though both are written in dB SPL/mW. It is still the right number for our purpose: it is the manufacturer's own, and the error it carries is small next to the 15 dB gap between dB/mW and dB/V.
