Gain Staging Advice
Gain is specified at a 3000 Ω load. An interface input of 1.2-2 kΩ loads it harder and yields slightly less; the difference is small but it exists.
Production Warning
The FetHead uses phantom power to run and blocks it from reaching the microphone — the manufacturer says so in one sentence. Passive dynamics and passive ribbons only. For a condenser you need the FetHead Phantom, which is a different product.
