Short answer: do not. The microphone will produce silence, and it did not need the booster in the first place.

The CL-1 is a phantom-powered device that is not a phantom power pass-through. It takes the +48 V arriving from the interface and spends it running its own JFET stage, which is where its +25 dB comes from. Downstream of it, on the pins going to the microphone, there is no phantom power left. A dynamic does not care — that is what the box was built for. A condenser has nothing to polarise its capsule with and nothing to run its impedance converter on, so it outputs silence or a faint hiss. People then test the microphone, the cable and the interface in turn and never suspect the small metal box in the middle.

The arithmetic says the booster was pointless anyway. The NT1 5th Gen is a −32 dBV/Pa condenser: at 85 dB SPL it puts about −38.8 dBu on the cable, and against the Scarlett Solo 4th Gen's +14 dBu ceiling a −18 dBFS target needs only 35 dB. The card offers 69. There is 34 dB of unused range.

What the arithmetic adds: even in the impossible case where the CL-1 passed phantom through, its +25 dB would leave the interface set to about 10 dB. That is not an improvement. A booster earns its place by letting a quiet microphone avoid a noisy preamp's top end; on a signal that already sits 34 dB inside the card's range, it only moves you closer to the input ceiling and raises the risk of clipping on a loud consonant. Boosters are for low-output passive microphones — dynamics and ribbons.
